After a lot of deliberation, I have chosen the winners to my contest! You guys seriously did not make it easy for me. There were a lot of entries running neck and neck. If I had the time and energy to give out more prizes I totally would. But, alas.

It isn't the world's most pleasant job. I'm fairly sure it's a field that doesn't appeal to most; in fact, I've worked with enough others who quit it or died to know so. The ones who stay are the ones who either have to, or want to; the desperate, and the ones that actually believe in it.
I suppose there's also the ones that don't know any better, but these days, you don't have to be here long to start getting hints.
Put on the device that keeps them from controlling your mind along with the hideous uniform; don't ask why they don't bother giving you a gun. You couldn't keep them in either way if they really wanted out of their tower. And remember, they can be fairly touchy, but with the proper care won't bother with you.

I've decided to hold a contest!
TWT is finally in its final Part, so I thought it would be nice to have a contest as a sort of celebration.
The object of the game: draw, write, sculpt, cosplay, etc, your favorite character from my comic, The White Tower.
Whatever your medium is, go for it!
Concept is up to you! Just present your favorite TWT character.
Send me a note with a link to your finished entry~!
RULES AND CLARIFICATION!
-Concept is completely up to you. Just present your favorite Tower character!
-Even though my comic is in black and white, feel free to work in color! (I have some color images of them in my gallery, but if you need additional information just ask)
-Feel free to be different! Be daring, surprise me!
-Any medium is allowed. Drawing, writing, crafts, cosplay, etc. Whatever is your niche, go for it!
-The deadline is August 10th 2013 (tentative)
-If you don't read my comic you can still enter, but obviously it would be better if you did read it.
-You may include several characters in your work.
-You may enter as many times as you like.
-Violence and nudity is cool with me, but please keep your entries tasteful.
-Your entry must have been made specifically for this contest.
-Don't be deterred if you're not the best artist; I'm going to be looking at things like concept and effort, not just quality.
-If you have any questions (about the contest or TWT), don't hesitate to ask!

Peter's Story It’s hard to remember what happened before. How my life was. But I do remember. I remember waking up every Saturday and eating waffles with my mom while Dad drank his one cup of coffee before heading off to his job as a janitor. I can remember watching cartoons too. Things like Recess and Doug. I think we had a dog, but that may be just something that I wanted. I vaguely remember going to school. I was in the ninth grade. I’d just started. I remember making friends with a couple sophomores on the first day, but I can’t remember their names. I…I remember thinking one of them was like my older brother.
My brother died when he was seventeen. I was ten. He was in a car accident with Dad. Our SUV got stuck on the train tracks. The battery died. Calvin was in the back seat trying to find the jumper cables while Dad talked to his buddy. The train came out of nowhere…they hadn’t even heard it coming. One minute the SUV was just

- One DaySparing moments. That was what they had. Both knew that these moments, flashes, vignettes in their lives would last so little time. They were only permitted so much time.
So they made the most of it. The rare muscle spasm of smiles graced their lips. Glints of color and emotion flitted across their eyes. For once the two relished the sensation of touch. Usually touch equaled pain, but when Peter and Simone held hands it felt wonderful.
Like two worlds colliding softly and in their wake leaving a tiny, innocent pool of gentle ripples. Their skin tingled, in a good way, which was so rare between them.
Love. And emotion neither thought they would have the chance to feel. A commitment neither thought they would ever have the honor of making. Gifts of smiles of smiles and sighs, stray touches and even more stray kisses. The feeling of fingers combing through hair and smiles through on skin.
