After what was probably months, I finally did some work on Grey Eyes. I drew this picture (classroom doodles are always the best), and then wrote some more script. Just a little bit, but still. That much closer to finishing a first draft! Then the lovely job of editing will begin. :^} I think part of the problem of my not working so much on GE recently (aside from being busy and drained from commissions and school) is that I'm writing the part of GE where things get kinda depressing? Yeah.

BUt then ~GrimReapette wrote this adorable little fic --> Giving Gifts “Here.”

Luke turned around to see Mikey holding out a badly wrapped, somewhat cylindrical package.  He raised an eyebrow but carefully took the offering.

“What is it?”  Luke asked with a sweet smile.

“It’s a present thing,” Mikey said quickly, folding his arms and not making eye contact.  “I had some money from the smithing, and I didn’t need food and stuff so—” Fuck this is not how you compliment.  “I got it for you.  It’s a present.  Not a thing, a present.”

One of those gorgeous little smiles that Luke was so good at moved across his pale lips.  He and inspiration struck!!

Anyway, Luke probably ended up looking sad here because he's sad right now in my writings~ It's also come to my attention that I usually draw Luke sad when he's all dolled up (and there is a reason for that), but I promise that he's not sad every time he's made all pretty! I'll have to draw a happy pimped out Luke later~ Anyway, I took the opportunity during history class to play around with something different for Luke’s hair and outfit (the nice thing about my Ynoizmno is that pretty much anything goes for them, so I get to play with many different looks). So much fun!
Not much else to say about this one except that I'm super happy with it (well I could say way more about the little things happening in the picture...but I'll leave it to those of you who are interested in the story to think about). Everything came together just how I wanted it to. :heart:

He looks really stunning! And I love the softness of the light and colors. It adds to the sorrowful atmosphere, holds a certain nostalgic air to it.
