I freaking love Pinocchio. It is a masterpiece.
Aside from it just being a completely charming films, it is a technical marvel.

1940s animation. No computers. So many patterns and textures, so many different lightings and lighting changes... all by hand. And this was only Disney's second full-length feature.
Also Walt Disney made everyone start over when they were halfway finished with the movie. And then the final films was made in only two years. The amount of detail that was accomplished in only two years is unbelievable.

(For a comparison, most Disney films take about four years to do.)

ANYway. Gushing aside. Pinocchio isn't Pinocchio without his conscience, so Jiminy is yelling at Pinocchio for thinking about drinking that booze.

I also love Pinocchio. But a funny fact: when I read the plot in Wikipedia, I thought I was going to hate it, specially for all the dark stuffs and unpunished villains. However, when I finally watch it on Disney Channel...I FELL IN LOVE WITH IT!!! Not only I don't hate it, but it became into my favorite Disney film, along with the Hunchback of Notre Dame (another really dark film too XD).

But I digress. Your work is amazing. The design is so loveable, I like the detail of the old paper like background. Pinocchio looks a bit older, but it fits him well. And that detail of being monochrimatic but leaving the bright blue really makes it look good!!! And the booze glass make the scen funny.

I'll probably do non-Disney kids before too long.

However, I think Jack is supposed to be around 18 (in appearance), and since my cut-off age for the kiddie collection is 16, he wouldn't be included. <:^/
