Hjoerdis

So after I drew Halldor, I thought I should give his sister Hjoerdis a whirl~ Just another quickie portrait, though. I swear I'm building up to something bigger!
(Hjoerdis is pronounced like "hee-ore-diss" if you wanted to know.)

Hjoerdis is Halldor's sister. Halldor and Hjoerdis are the offspring of Valdis. However, before they hatched, Leif slayed Valdis (whoops). And so, when Halldor and Hjoerdis were hatched they saw Leif as their mother, and he was only too glad to raise them.

I'm just gonna keep saying this: My dad is the best storyteller in our family. Hands down, bar none. So you should read his books.
It's got everything! Fencing, fighting, torture, revenge, giants, monsters, chases, escapes, true love, miracles... (No really, it's got like... all of those features. <3)
