Expressions - The Frown by MistyTang Expressions - The Frown by MistyTang
And here we discuss the frown~!
I hope all that makes sense. If you have any questions, I will do my best to answer.

Each of these are meant to build on the previous, by the way. Meaning, I'm assuming you've read the other tips and tricks I've made.
So, I left out some of the "the muscles pulling this way do this" stuff. I don't like repeating myself, and I'm sure you don't like reading me repeating myself.

I felt that this was a good time to touch on body language. Just more food for thought! I'm thinking I might make an "expressions" devoted solely to body language. I'll think about it, anyway. :)

Oh, and once again let me know what you think! I wanna know if this is actually helping anybody. :P

Intro: The Smile:

I've kind of stopped making tutorials, because I discovered far superior ones to mine.
I highly recommend `alexds1's, *tracyjb's, and ~Coelasquid's tutorials. They are magnificent.

Pencil and some CG.

I find this tutorial very endearing and easy to follow ^^
Thank you, I'm glad you like it. :)
It seems like everyone does happy faces, so it's hard to find something as helpful as this! Thanks for helping!
You're very welcome! I'm glad you found it helpful. :)
yep, especially the part when you said not to be afraid to use harsh lines. I don't know why, but that ended up being a "duh" moment for me. It's almost like I forgot people hide their faces when they cry for that reason.

This is good. :) I'm new at drawing more expressive stuff and this was quite helpful in explaining the obvious stuff that you wouldn't really consciously notice unless you've already figured it out. It also makes sense as it's own tutorial since I have not seen your others. XD Thanks! Will go look at your other tutorials now. :)
Oh, good! I'm so glad to know that you found it helpful.
And thank you for taking the time to tell me so~

Yeah, I was actually wondering when I would be able to find a tutorial that explained all those tiny things in detail, like the creases and furrows. And you're welcome. :)
