I bought this movie today on DvD!! And I just watched it!
Yeah, I'm a huge Power Rangers fan, so sue me.
But seriously, this was a fun movie and the characters were all spot on. Out of all of the Disney Princesses that came out of the last year, Tiana is probably my all time favorite. Not just for her looks and her three dimensional persona, but also for the journey that she took when she was a frog. I always feel sorry for animated women whenever they get shrunk, getting captured, turned into animals, turned into old people, turned into stone, getting cursed, getting dirty, etc.... And yet somehow, these kinds of scenes always turn me on for some reason.... I know, weird huh.
But thankfully, she got her dreams granted at the end of the story, and that's what we want out of movies like these.
Awesome work once more Misty, both Tiana and Naveen look very lovely in your style. Here's hoping that we get another animated classic in the near future.
I have heard that a new traditionally animated film is in the works, though there's been no word on what it is yet.
