My very first live action couple! Mm-hm! Bert and Mary are most certainly on my favorites list. *sigh* I love Mary Poppins. Especially now that I'm older and actually understand all of the jokes. X3

I hate drawing hats. I hate drawing hats. I hate drawing hats. But, these are my favorite outfits from the movie, so I endured and did my best with them.
These outfits are a lot more intricate than you think. I did my best to include all of their details, but in the end, I was not willing to stare at screenshots for a gazillion hours just to get the tiny details right. So, there is probably something I omitted or simplified. My apologies.

Mmm. Julie Andrews' voice is angelic. I love listening to her. And Dick van Dyke is pretty cool, too. Strangely, Bert was harder to draw than Mary--she came to me easily when I was expecting a challenge (drawing real people is hard). I think it's Dick van Dyke's nose that messed me up a bit. Which doesn't make sense, because I've drawn bulbous-y noses before. Hmm. Interesting.

The songs are genius. But elementary school ruined Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious for me. They made us sing it so, so often. I still like it and all, but geh. It inevitably brings up those old feelings of being forced to sing.
My favorite song is probably 'Let's go Fly a Kite'. Not exactly sure why, but it is. X3

Unfortunately, I didn't have the soundtrack readily available while I was working on this, so I had to be content with songs from other Disney movies.
