It's the one you've all been waiting for!
Hahaha, anyway.... There isn't too much about The Little Mermaid that I can say that hasn't already been said. It's a very, very good film. Magnificent music and songs, great characters, great animation (although it does have some amusing hickups).

Since it's spring break, I glued my butt to my chair and made myself finish this (because its been sitting in my folder for at least two weeks, hardly being touched).
Blotchy coloring style because... I don't know, I just thought it would look good. And I think it does.

Some people asked me if I was going to draw Ariel as a mermaid. And that just perplexed me. I mean, throughout the entire movie, Ariel was striving to become human, so that she could be with Eric. So no fish-tail for my couples picture.
Sail dress because it's fierce. Scuttle should be a designer.

Dedicated (for what it's worth) to Howard Ashman, the man "who gave a mermaid her voice, and a beast his soul."
